Les boisés La Fleur owes its name to its founder, Marcel Lafleur, who began manufacturing decorative wood veneer panels in 1984. His son, Louis Lafleur, then took over the family business with partners, before becoming sole owner in 2007.
This transition marks the start of major investments in both machinery and the well-being of employees, the company's most important resource. In 2011, Boisés La Fleur moved into Victoriaville's new industrial park thanks to a $3 million investment, in order to combine productivity and efficiency like nowhere else.
